The Upper Valley Farm to School Network is a group of farmers, teachers, parents and community members. We work to integrate local farms and food into the school cafeteria, classroom and community.

Sharon Elementary has been involved with the Farm to School Program for seven years. We use the "three C's" to foster an environment that involves classroom, cafeteria and community in food education. Students are encouraged to taste and try local foods prepared in a variety of ways. They get hands on experience preparing foods and often get to visit the farms where the food is coming from. Our food service staff works closely with local farmers and strives to serve as many local, seasonal foods as possible. - See more at Your FTS/Sharon
