Ray School has been in the process of implementing a school vegetable garden for over a year.  On Saturday, May 1 we broke ground and constructed 24 raised beds with a great crew of volunteers.

We will have the garden planted by early June.  We plan on using the garden as another way to approach the teaching of core academic areas, and eventually to bring the food from our garden to classrooms for snack or lunches.
